VERY interesting...given that they seem to have listened to people's complaints about certain lacking details in the FS100.
My main worry is that they upped the sensor pixel count - what, almost 3x? without increasing the sensor size, yet claim the same sensitivity. One of the reasons the FS100 was of such interest to me is because I like to shoot in very low light, and noise can be an issue. Will the same "sensitivity" in the FS700's Super 35 sensor with higher resolution make for a noisier picture?
All in all though, I am VERY VERY interested.....I might even have to sell something - anyone need a kidney or a well-worn soul?

I hope to look at this camera at NAB as well. It's very interesting camera but I'm afraid of low light noise, moire etc...
At least the Canon MKIII is known to address these problems.

If the Sony FS700 can deliver low sensor noise, it's almost the dream camera that the C300 should have been. For stock video it seems to be a great versatile specification.

The problem for me is, I've invested a ton of money in Canon and Zeiss lenses with canon mount.
So the Sony wasn't a something I would be interested in until I saw this EOS to Sony adapter.

The thing I need to see is lowlight footage and see if it is clean enough for stock, the 5D MK2 is great in lowlight I would like to see that performance as a minimum from the Sony FS700. The Sony sensors that they put in Nikon cameras never had good lowlight capability for stock.
