Canon officially announces 60D:

Looks like it supports all the "in-between" ISO modes that the 5D and 7D have and the T2i does not. Also lets you trim video clips in camera and disable the auto-gain for audio.

All plastic body, though... like the T2i.

An improved T2i. I like it!

If the SDXC cards really do allow 30 minutes of continuous recording, it's worth selling my HF11 to get a 60D.

So when are you going to part with your cash???? Or are you just a dreamer???
LUXORPYRAMID 4 Sep 2010 15:08
... a dreamer until November ... for now family is more important, hobbies can wait...

Hmm and I'm thinking about buying a 5D do I wait? Just looking at the beachtek xlr audio box for the 5D now I see with the 60D you can control the audio gain. More thinking needed.

@Maguiremedia. If you do not need the Magnesium Alloy body, Weather Proofing and you do not need to use it as a club for self defense, then this camera is just great for 1,000 plus dollars less. You can use those extra $1000 to buy a battery grip, a Zoom H4N and more glass or a shoulder mount. That articulated screen is very handy.
