I've placed a storage server on 50/50 optic fiber internet just for uploading stock footage. At home I only have 20/5 speed :(

Even if you start with 800mbps you would re-encode as prores right?

more than likely so 800mb just won't be used. It's on the UPS truck for delivery now. A possibility but very slight I might try the software that comes with it if any does.

First impression (before even reading the manual, LOL).

Yes heavier than the Sony RX-10 MK II. Well balanced with the 70-200 2.8 L lens. Feels good to have a solid camera in my hands for photos and video. Pulled a frame off 4K video as a photo, excellent, sharp no pixalization or distortion.

I had a farmer drilling or planting alfalfa seed into my field when the camera arrived. Threw the battery in and the CFast 2 card in and turned it on with no changes to menu. Sharp great looking footage. Autofocus as the tractor drove towards and away for over 1,000 feet looks right on. Auto exposure was perfect. Yes ... I always use manual but didn't have time.

Menu very similar to 5D MK III with a lot of additions.

Video plays in Premiere Pro CC with no hesitation of jitters. Processing seems to take a little longer but not significantly when rendering to ProRes.

At 100% absolutely no distortion or pixels. None at 200%. At 400% pixels are showing as expected. Yes details are FAR superior to the Cell phone shooters. First look I believe far exceeds Sony AX-100 and RX-10 II. Of course it should be at 3-4 times the cost.

At this point I have no remorse.

BIG question to P5 Team. What is your feeling on 4K DCI versus 4K UHD? Which ratio do ya'll think is better for buyers?
