A general question to other animators:
I have long wondered what type of computer I would need (preferably running Windows) that can convert a single frame at 20,480 x 20,480 pixels 24-bit or 32-bit color from one image format to another. Such as .BMP to .TGA, .PNG, .GIF, or .JPG.
Would any of the Eyefinity video cards be able to accommodate something so large?
And of course would the same computer be suitable for making entire animations at this resolution?
