I know about those and the adaptors that have a manual iris in them but I would need something that will activate the electronic iris in the EF lenses.
Just trying to not buy more lens when I have great Canon glass.

You can get adapters without electronics but with a slider for aperture, I have one for G Nikon lenses without aperture rings and they are quite cheap.

Does it work well?
Any vignetting?
Normstock 12 Mar 2014 23:59
Works fine no vignetting, manual exposure only, no firm stops.

Jake, I have ton of lenses for my GH2 with various adapters. These are all manual focus lenses. As far as I know there are no adapters that will activate the electronics...unless this is something new for the GH4. Not sure if the crop factor is the same for the GH4 as the GH2, but its great for zooms, turns my 210mm into a 420mm, plus there is also a tele converter that increases it even more without sacrificing quality. The wide angle is where you get sucked into paying more though. Not sure if the 14-140mm is going to come standard with the GH4, but it is a beautiful outdoor lens on the GH2 with a built-in stabilizer, indoors forget it, not fast enough.

never had vignetting with any lenses with adapters either.

The crop factor is x2 but for 4K I believe it's x2.3 because of the area of the sensor 4K is taken from.

The metabones adapter increases wide angle performance, f stop and communicates with the camera.

Michael,
This adaptor will activate the electronic iris of the EF lenses, not focus but I don't worry about auto focus. It's just very expensive.
