So, you got it? I can't tell since the photo is cut off.

Have you produced any videos yet?
dapoopta 2 Jan 2009 21:55
Hahahah that photo is great! I didn't realize it cut me in half. Let me fix that.

as you can see I got it. Went to the sony store and got an extra $100 off, and then got a $179 , 2 year warranty that covers me dropping it etc. That is the first thing I plan on doing CRASH!!!

How cool man. Now wait until you get stopped by security guards, police, nosey people, etc...... because you're using a big camera.
The days of stealth are over....

Can't wait to see some video from it.

Congratulations,
Jake

I'll send you some uncompressed mpeg from it Jake, I'll do low light and some actual shots! It drove me nuts trying to look for examples of footage, because everyone was always doing 'low light' tests, but now one was doing regular clips. Not that any of my clips are 'regular' in any sense...but you know what I mean. I am super excited about this camera. Almost cried when I got it :-)

I was searching on youtube for video from it. Same here I kept finding low light stuff but a few regular clips. Looks good.

Did you get a polarizer for it? That's the only filter I use but its indispensable for good looking outdoor shots.
Still 72mm like my FX1. that's good, I would hate to buy another size filter.

Jake, I use the Cokin polarizer. Which one are you using?

Congrats man!

I purchased the HD 'digital' promaster filter. It was 60bucks, but the regular one was $30. I figure, what the hell, I just dropped a nice amount on the camera, might aswell buy a supposed better protector lens
