Codec for Adobe Premiere

all others work perfectly
The codec of that link is mpeg so it shouldn't ask for any other codec but it does??!!

That clip looks to be an HDV mpeg2 file. Usually the support for HDV files within Non-Linear Editors (ie: Premiere and FInal Cut ) is built into the latest FULL versions of these apps.

Which version of Premiere Pro are you working with and is it a FULL Retail version or a trial version? Check out the link below for full details.

It is Adobe Premiere Pro CS5
And it's not trial..

I would then look more closely at your Quicktime for Windows version as well as if you have the MPEG 2 Playback component installed.

Also, have you sent a site mail to the producer of the clip in question to see if they can provide any insight ?
