Royalties from Library Tracks

I tried to register my music tracks with the PRS - these are music library tracks not associated with any film or production - but they said you have to be a publisher member in order to register library music tracks. So is that the only answer? To become a publisher? I'd like to ask other composers on Pond5 how do you get royalties from your library tracks? Many thanks, kind regards, Stephen
