I stupid about this stuff ... HELP!

I just bought a $10 AE logo reveal and I tried to change the text and logo to my preferences ...

Disaster!

1. I had to install Adobe After Effects onto my PC ... which led to me installing Adobe Cloud 9 too ... the PC didn't like the size of the software install and started to drastically slow its operations ...

2. Once inside the AE software application, I was completely lost ... it was another universe for me ...

3. I couldn't get my logo to appear cleanly ... it was all distorted ...

Isn't there a simpler way to change a few words and add my company logo to these AE logo reveal applications?

By the way ... I already uninstalled BOTH Adobe programs from my PC ... it was freezing up and malfunctioning ...
