Search Engine not looking on artist name. Those 384 appear because you write your name in description.
If a customer want to view your entire collection have to search for "artist:niar"

A buyer or artist should never have to know how to do searches using codes or special formats. It should always be a simple name or keyword. For years P5 has had problems like this. A person needs to know the "secret" programmers codes to do accurate searches.

@Don, I agree with codes but I think researchers do not look so often for artists portfolios.

I do not see a problem on Pond5 since on the other agencies you cannot find your clips searching with your artist name.

@Niar You can add your artist name in keywords if you think will help customers to find your clips.

Lets not go offtopic. It is not about finding your own clips but getting accurate results for the search terms. It looks like now SE works only on the base of title.

@Ionescu Search Engine is not working only on the base of title but like any other SE (google, yahoo) the title is the most important and that is good because I think spamming is less in title comparing with keywords or description.

Your concern based on those two words is not relevant because of different possible meanings.
"Girl holding a thing in front of the camera" is very accurate result searching with those two words "holding camera".

If you search for photographer camera or photographer holding camera the results are very accurate.

A researcher need to be clever.

@Sevart: `A researcher need to be clever.` - say that to the buyers.

The way SE works now makes description/keywords useless. The result must be balanced between title, keywords, and description. The SE must be clever but not the `researcher`.

@Ionescu The Search Engine is clever and buyers of course need to be able to find what they want and when they need help can contact P5 or artists.

The results cannot be in perfect balance. You need to rank every parameter. Here on P5 many parameters are ranked, not only title, keywords, and description and those are changed weekly based on other parameters.

You blame the search engine just because you think the customers are not able to find what they need.

Look for other examples of keywords with non accurate results. If the results are not accurate because of different possible meanings try also with synonyms.

You have to come with many more examples before saying "Search Engine in BIG TROUBLE"
