That card has 1 gig of ram and only 32 cuda cores.
It's pretty under powered for live play of HD and especially if you go to 4K video.

Personally I would stay with Nvidia but get the best card you can afford. It's one of those things that shouldn't be skimped on.
And like Jason said, make sure your power supply can handle it.
Also make sure you always have the latest drivers from Nvidia.
