Hi I have a question, i am using a Panasonic 920 which uses avchd and a frame rate of 50fps, I will convert to mov before uploading but on the video specs on the site 50fps is not mentioned, so is 50fps ok or would i need to lower it...?? if so I am using cyberlink do i just select the 25fps rate for production...??? any help would be apreciated.

You can also upload 50fps but the footage will be twice as large. I've sold some 50fps too but I usually convert them normally to 25fps (not slow motion). Im using After Effects dont know what you have to change in cyberlink.

Yes I have the 920 which for me shoots 60p and I always render 30p (29.97), no problem at all. You can also go to your timeline and can slow the footage on the timeline not the render settings and get half speed slow motion. If you are going to film something to slow down in post then select a higher shutter speed double frame rate so for you 1/100th at least.

Hi Thank you for the good advice NormStock, can i ask do you shoot avchd with the 920 and then convert to mov.... then upload, or do you convert to mov then use stream clip to make a photo jpeg..... stream clip does not accept avchd well not my clips anyway :)

I import the AVCHD clips directly into my NLE Sony Movie Studio do any trimming and colour corrections then render out as a .MOV in Photojpeg. No conversion is necessary.
