Simplify Upload/Submit Process

I think it's time to streamline the upload/submit process.

On most agencies I need only supply a title or description (not both), tags and maybe a category or two. And the lack of data on camera info, shot location, etc... doesn't seem to hurt their sales.

I know about templates and I use them, but it's still a MUCH LONGER process to submit here than elsewhere. For data that appears to no longer be important to buyers.

I think the submit page can be trimmed to "Title", "Tags", Checkbox for Editorial, and allow us to select the thumbnail. The rest is fluff and no longer necessary.

May I add, I need a checkbox for 360 video player.

they don't even have a selection for DCI format or a way to add model release during the data input without going to a different page. They simplified the ftp uploading by eliminating all but one server and look at the mess. A speedier curation .. SS is doing them within an hour or two now.

Editorial is not needed, that's P5's job to determine. It doesn't matter what we think as far as editorial or commercial since they need to decide anyway.

Things like audio, camera, format and size etc should be able to automatically be extracted from exif.

It takes twice as long to tag all my footage than any other site here on P5. Being able to submit without going into the 'edit' screen would save a lot of time. Just my 2 cents!

And being able to add a model / property release from the edit page would help a lot.
