Description:
A bird of the shrubby edges of forests and bogs in North America the handsome Common Yellowthroat is a joy to hear at sunrise. The range of this bird in summer is right across the USA/Canada up into the Northwest Territories east to Newfoundland. Southerly its range drops into the Southern States, but not so much Florida or Tennessee. There is a hint of rain in this recording, you can also hear Spring Peeper Frog, Black And White Warbler, Grackle, Blue Headed Vireo and even a distant Loon if you listen carefully. The recording has a nice reverb as it was recorded near a lake on a still dawn morning in the wilderness.
