Description:
The Winter Wren is one of the first birds to sing in spring, it's song is as complicated as it is beautiful. I recorded this near a remote lake just as day began to break. The recording has a nice ambiance of such a setting and if you listen carefully you can hear the overall setting in the reverb as the Wren's song slightly echoes off the distant shoreline. Not far away a stream flows and the Spring Peeper is ending its night song.
