STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN (MARCH 21, 2017) (REUTERS) ***WARNING CONTAINS FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY*** EXTERIOR OF GOVERNMENT OFFICE BUILDING, CROATIAN FLAG ENTRANCE CROAT PRESIDENT KOLINDA GRABAR-KITAROVIC WALKING UP STAIRS, GREETED BY SWEDISH PRIME MINISTER STEFAN LOFVEN GRABAR-KITAROVIC AND LOFVEN SHAKING HANDS, WALK AWAY GRABAR-KITAROVIC AND LOFVEN SEATED GRABAR-KITAROVIC AND LOFVEN ENTER ROOM AND SIT DOWN FOR MEETING GRABAR-KITAROVIC AND LOFVEN ENTER ROOM FOR NEWS CONFERENCE, LOFVEN WELCOMING GRABAR-KITAROVIC JOURNALISTS GRABAR-KITAROVIC SPEAKING AT NEWS CONFERENCE (SOUNDBITE) (English) CROATIAN PRESIDENT, KOLINDA GRABAR-KITAROVIC, SAYING (TALKING ABOUT NEIGHBOURS' EU/NATO MEMBERSHIP TALKS): "I see their full integration as a precondition for lasting peace, stability and security in our region so that we can all discuss the same issues around the same table before they become problems." JOURNALIST (SOUNDBITE) (English) CROATIAN PRESIDENT KOLINDA GRABAR-KITAROVIC, SAYING: "Now, the situation right now is that we find ourselves in the midst of two very dangerous kinds of fatigue. The first is fatigue with enlargement in the European Union and the second one is fatigue with reform that we see in our neighbouring countries because people are becoming disillusioned. I think that the EU, regardless of these internal problems of Brexit and everything that will follow, needs to focus more on southeast Europe. We need to encourage these people to keep the support for the reform processes which are very important for the stabilisation, internal stabilisation of these societies and resolving any outstanding open issues and potential new open issues." GRABAR-KITAROVIC SPEAKING AT NEWS CONFERENCE (SOUNDBITE) (English) CROATIAN PRESIDENT KOLINDA GRABAR-KITAROVIC, SAYING (TALKING ABOUT REFUGEE ROUTES): "I'm absolutely against closing down the border and again, any type of physical wall or fence or anything will be the last resort. But the stability and the national security of the country and the security of our citizens, the preservation of the stability of our economy will be the factors that we will be also considering alongside the fact that we need to show the human face, humane, towards any migrants. Thank you." PHOTOGRAPHER (SOUNDBITE) (English) SWEDISH PRIME MINISTER STEFAN LOFVEN, SAYING (TALKING ABOUT TURKEY): "And it's also, I think, for Turkey to see that there is nothing to gain in Turkey from a destabilised European Union - rather the opposite. So we are dependent on one another so let's make sure that we can decrease tensions now and not escalate them." GRABAR-KITAROVIC SPEAKING AT NEWS CONFERENCE
