Description:
Washington DC National Cathedral walk down isle 4K. Cathedral Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul in the City and Diocese of Washington, known as Washington National Cathedral, is a cathedral of the Episcopal Church. Nearly a half million tourists visit each year. Construction began in 1907. Congress of the United States designated it as the "National House of Prayer". The pulpit was carved out of stones from Canterbury Cathedral; Glastonbury Abbey provided stone for the bishop's formal seat, the cathedral. The Jerusalem Altar, is made from stones quarried at where the stones for Solomon's Temple were quarried. In the floor directly in front of that altar are set ten stones from the Chapel of Moses on Mount Sinai, representing the Ten Commandments. Four services (and five in the summer) are held each weekday. Tombs in the church including President Woodrow Wilson. 4K UHD HD video. Don Despain of Rekindle Photo.
