Northwest Argentina

Scenes from Argentinas´ north-western provinces Salta and Jujuy. Very roughly speaking, the area is a desert in high altitude with a very unique, beautiful landscape thanks to its colorful mountains. The Quebrada de Humahuaca valley, in Jujuy, is a Unesco World Heritage site, but the Quebrada de Cafayate valley, in Salta, is equally impressive and popular. The large cardon cactus is an almost omnipresent travelling companion. This region is one of the most popular travel destinations in Argentina, on par with Patagonia, the Iguazu falls or Buenos Aires. The vast majority of clips have been filmed with a Canon EOS 7D in HD 1080p25, using an EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 zoom lens that provides professional image quality. Some additional clips have been filmed with a Canon HV30 in HDV 1080i50. All photo time-lapses have been shot in raw and processed in Photoshop. Please contact me if you have any questions.
