How is this month going for you?

Hello mates, I am just opening this thread so that we can discuss how this month is going to everyone here!!

It's going like the last 2 months for me - Nothing! I'm fairly new to doing video though so am building up my portfolio as fast as I can, hoping for some motivation in the form of lots of sales. I know it's a slow game, I'm experienced with image stock elsewhere. I've had 6 sales in total since starting but I only starting uploaded footage seriously last year. I have over 500 clips so far and have lots of ideas for more. I just need a little motivation to keep on pushing myself, so I know I'm doing the right thing and producing clips people want. Licensing images is so much simpler!

Yeah I have checked out your portfolio and you have some amazing footage in there. Sometime in the future you'll get a good sale and you will wish you had uploaded way more footage... This is the motivation that keeps me going HAHA. Maybe it will work for you too. Licensing images especially on Shutterstock is way better than here!!

Running into some snafus, over 500 music pieces, pricing seems fair, quality is excellent. Am I pricing too low? Getting a lot of views but no sales. I must learn a bit more patience.

LivingForce, keep uploading more music pieces and eventually you'll get some sales. Lately it has not been good for most people...

I just started uploading photos over the last week, so far I've only seen a few views but nothing yet. Im still learning about what sells, pricing etc. I've seen some amazing photos cheap as hell, and I've seen some crappy ones for crazy prices so im trying to find a balance. So is it about volume or quality? Can someone take a peek at my profile for feedback? Thanks

Life_moments_gallery, your photos are really good but I think it is better if you upload them elsewhere too because Pond5 won't bring you any photo sales or at least you will feel like your time was wasted. It is about quantity and quality too. I am going for cheap prices until my portfolio gets ranked and then I might raise the prices.
