Let's see if the additional equipment from Hero3 like Battery, LCD Display and housings will also fit?

I can wait a couple months to replace my Hero3+ Black (which was awesome except for its lack of buoyancy). This should be pretty cool. As long as it's not as buggy as my Hero3, which really is a POS.

Out of all the codecs it also includes MJPEG just as P5 says it wont accept it anymore : )

Why would anyone want interlaced these days anyway? Just curious.

Electronic stabilization too? Zounds! Would it work in 4K mode, or necessitate dropping to a lower resolution? Does it cause image degradation, if so, how much? (The Clear Image Zoom stabilization on the AX100 makes some nasties)
Do they still have 2.7K will it be at 60P instead of only 30? Geez - what card will be required for 4K 30P? Supersampling for 1080 and below? Hi speed shooting for elegant slowmo in decent resolutions will be fun.

Trying to make as many announcements as possible to save the stock prices. Incredible amount of short selling happening still. Aerial 4K sounds great.

Mixed emotions, a Go Pro Hero with 4k capability sound great! to bad its still a Go Pro. My hero 3 is as Mizamook said "POS!"

Battery life sucks, has troubles turning on , has troubles connecting to the computer, picture quality, 1 out of 4 shots is worth keeping, and so on.

With that said, Why am thinking about buying one?

For what it's worth, I must re-iterate the awesome worthy improvements of the H3+ vs the old POS H3. Night and day. Battery life, reliability, resolving power, communications via WiFi, less lens distortion, less flicker, better control using ProTune, and Oh! did I mention it actually stays in record? Fingers crossed they keep up the improvement.
