Today I uploaded 40 videos, but I see only 33 videos in "Needs Edit" section. I need to rename the videos and reupload again. It's a waste of my time. It happens every time. Why you do not solve this old problem?
Fix it, please.
Thanks

if after a few hours it still shows 33, instead of 40, then try this in the future:
- "break" the batch in smaller baches (in this case, 8 batches of 5 files each)
- upload first batch, wait til all files from it appear in "need edits"
- proceed to next batch etc, til u finish
+ in general, if you can, i think it is better to keep filenames short (i dont always, but it might be a reason for your error)
+ copy final files in a short-named folder in the root of the partition (for example in "c:\a") so that the access path to the files is very short. dragndrop them in pond5 from this new folder.
+ dragndrop only the files (i mean, if you have each file in a separate folder, dont drag the folders, but "extract" the files and dragndrop only them) (this is i think mostly to avoid duplicate filenames)

This is a neverending problem for a while now... with ftp or with browser uploading. It doesn't matter if I upload 10 files or 100, there will be always some that go into error mode (seen online if you select view #ALL), which may be with retried upload work, or not.

You guys have probably been doing this longer than I have, but my experience is that file uploads will be lost if I do anything on the computer that is uploading the files. Files will be lost even if I play a game of solitaire on the computer that's doing the uploading. If I just let the computer be until the files are uploaded, it has worked every time. Of course, I also make sure the computer doesn't go to sleep while uploading -- that will lose files, too.
So I upload in relatively small batches (15 files or less), and make sure it is complete before I do anything else on that computer. That has worked for me so far.

@pvreditor are you using an FTP client or P5 uploader? Myself I use FileZilla and have no problem uploading and using the computer to do other things at the same time. Normally I upload after midnight while sleeping and check to see if there were any missing clips in the morning. While waiting for clips to be reviewed I'll either get more clips ready for uploading or out in the field getting more footage.
Just looking at one of your clip of the sump pump and thinking to myself how lucky I am that I do not have that problem when it rains. Of course, my sump is full of sand and the pump itself is rusted and would be of little use in a storm. Our Neighborhood Is nothing but a big sandbox and in 43 years never had a problem. Back in the 60's we lived in a place where the groundwater always kept the sump busy and if we lost power the basement would flood that is if the power remained length of time.

Jason, I'm using Pond5's uploader. I have other computers, so tying one up to upload files is not a big problem. Once the files are uploaded but still pending, I will upload more.
That sump situation you saw is in new construction, built in 2017. We're surprised to have this problem, as we are on the highest lot on our street. Clearly, the yard was not graded properly when the construction was completed. We've taken steps to divert water away from our foundation and think that will help. FWIW, that sump flow was after a 5-inch rain storm had saturated the ground.

As a side note i think your pricing is low 50 for 4k and 25 for hd is low in my opinion i do not do 4k but my clips are 50-90 for hd

DavidHornchurch, if you are referring to the pricing on my clips, I'm just using the prices suggested by Pond5. I have not changed its suggested prices for any of my clips. And I have yet to make a sale -- I have only 125 files or so uploaded, however (some of them yet to be approved).
I've only been doing this for a month, so I have no experience with what sells and at what price. I'm working on a short film with a writer/director, and he bought some files off Pond5 to use for short transitions in the film. When he showed me what he was looking at, I thought "Hell, I could do that!" That's how I started.

It was not a criticism in my case i joined a long time ago only in the last 18 months did i upload content with only 60 videoes so far and a handful of sales, i travel a lot at thistime i have around 2500 images to go through and around 250 videoes to look through in my opinion most video clips are for tv use and 25 or 75 does not sway a buyer, in bodrum turkey for 5 weeks and made just under a hundred videoes in 7 days no facilities to upload here back in england the 12th september
