aarrrrgh, .... yesterday it worked the whole day very well ..... and today fails again :(

The problem like described in https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1540768 seems to be the same,
but i have only 4 cores and 8 processors.

I know it's not the solution you want to hear but it's time to retire the photojpg workflow.

Any other possibility instead of USD 199 ?

Actually it's 899,- EUR they don't sell the Standard version anymore. See the text on their site.

ProRes is a huge PITA on Windows if you don't have a real Mac and Apple wants to keep it that way. Some time ago there was a cheap alternative called Miraizon but the quality was subpar and the sales ended too. To get real Apple ProRes you will need to render it from an iMac or MacBook etc.
Hopefully someday the agencies will also support AvidDNxHD.

Daniel, I disagree on 'subpar' with the maraizon prores. That's all I use now and am very happy with results.

You can use ffmpeg to get prores, most back end server conversions of stock sites that supply clips in Prores are using this for conversion... not apples :-)

Same as Scott. I have only use Maraizon for the last 2 years with great results. Sales haven't slumped because of that.

I also tried FootageStudio from Acrovid which you can convert your footage to different formats and export in DNxHD or ProRes.
But in testing, I saw no difference in the quality of the footage so I stayed with Maraizon since I can use that to render from Premiere or After Effects.
The Footagestudio product is a standalone program so you had an extra step to get Prores.

As Scott said most stock sites when selling a ProRes conversion is using ffmpeg on a Windows platform.

I've been using Maraizon for over two years on every clip. WOrks fast and quality looks great. No problems with it. Problem is I don't think you can buy it anymore. SOme other company bought them out ... probably Apple since it was so good.
