GH4

The recorded audio into the SD CARD and via the YAGH is free of buzz. The issue was fully explain in the webcast. The issue is caused because "The GH4 is designed to work with the Panasonic DMW-MS2 Stereo Shotgun Microphone and has features that can be adjusted in the menu of the GH4." Buy a Panasonic mic and problem solved. More on the subject. http://eriknaso.com/2014/05/23/gh4-external-mic-audio-issues-and-work-around/

Since problem is "hardware" related. There must be a adapter that will make other 100% mics compatible with the GH4.

During the B&H GH4 webcast, the Panasonic guy said that B&H sold an adapter that fixes the issue.

Thanks for the replies guys. I did watch some of the webcast but missed the part about the audio, unfortunately! It seems like it's best to use one of Panasonic's own microphones. If that's what it takes to get good audio, I think it's worth to buy. But shouldn't they just provide those adapters for free..?

What is the first GH4 - 4K clip sold in P5?

Which camera is better in low light, for video just out of the camera?
5D2 or GH4
5D3 or GH4
Is the sensitivity to light different in 4K than HD of the same camera??

Bigger sensors will give you better low light performance. So, for low light capabilities, the 5D2 and 3 will be better than the GH4.

OK, that's the theory. Has anyone made a real life comparison?

Is GH4 clip under-exposed in the comparison ? This test was done by EOS, means Canon, a Panasonic competitor!

If you watch the B&H video, the Panasonic guy says outright "the full size sensor in the 5D3 will give you better low-light performance".
