This egg looks really good. I hope they will have 60fps instead of 30.

Similar compact Drone (stored in a box, or sharp like a egg) is already in the market, may be not 4K yet. Fighting for market share is just started.

It impressed me simply because of the built-in stabilizer. When combined with 60fps will be much smoother.

I'm already missing my Inspire 1 (sold!) but still have the X5 cam for sale, dangit. But I'd be happy with the egg even at 30P ... I'd love to toss it in backpack and head up the mountains, looking for glacier crevasses, etc. Carrying larger quad, harder to forget you have it, so you concentrate on flying, missing other shots, and flying not always so good.

I don't expect this egq or any other "4K" quad, that cannot carry RX100m4 to be as good as RX100m4 ... and that is the minimum for 4K ... but the "4K" these current drones make is "almost" decent HD, sometimes really good. I'd be OK with that for now.

Thanks for some of the videos you guys posted here. Even if the codec may not be sublime, it's still pretty remarkable we can capture these images from the sky. Difficult to imagine even 5 years ago.

Underwater drones sound great too Gene! Although mini submarine would probably be a better name for those.

Not quite underwater ... that one is "waterproof" but not submergable. Those sub drones are a different story, and there are some, tethered, of course, since radio signals do not penetrate water. Look pretty cool.

Be nice to at least look below the waves with this other, but I would not be happy with the normal GoPro fisheye in the air.

Can't have it all Pat ... but to be able to land on water (or crash) when flying from boat would be a good thing .. reduce stress!

It would be nice to have ultimate drone: Waterproof, portable, 1 hour flight time, excellent 60P 4K, 5 km control and video feed, etc ...
