Uploaded videos look darker

Hello,
I'm new to both Pond5 and stock video, so I just uploaded my first two videos yesterday (both are 3d animations). Anyway, once they were shown on my uploads page I looked at the preview and it was extremely dark, even though it looked fine on my computer.
Has anyone else had a problem with the videos looking different after they were uploaded?
Also, is there a way to upload a screenshot instead of the whole clip to the forum?
Thanks in advance!

Two things... First, for some reason Pond5 does not generate the "final" preview when clips are uploaded. They generate a substandard preview initially then the system generates the final preview anywhere from a few days to a few weeks later (depending on how busy things have been).
Second, because of the way QuickTime files are encoded, Pond5 adjusts for a non-existend gamma shift. It's not Pond5's fault, it has to do with a problem in the QuickTime codec. Make sure you are using the very latest version of QuickTime on your system or try using MPEG streamclip. Either should fix the gamma problem.

Thanks dnavarrojr, I'll be sure to update QuickTime but I did use MPEG Streamclip on one of the clips (the clip was in the .mov format with the PNG codec and I converted it to .mov with the Photo-Jpeg codec).
Since it could just be the preview that's causing it to appear darker, I may go ahead and submit them to the reviewers with a quick explanation, or do you think it would be better go ahead and update the QuickTime and re-upload them? (By the way, I use a dial-up connection so it may be awhile until I can get on a wifi hotspot to re-upload)
Thanks again!

I wouldn't worry about it, just submit it to the reviewers as is. If they have an issue with a preview, they always download the original file and review that.

Another small thing to remember viewing clips on pond5, has alot to do with your screen settings on your laptop or desktop! also the graphics card your using. It's no necessarily anything your doing wrong.

Thanks for mentioning the screen settings Maguiremedia!
When I first uploaded my videos, I had thought that my screen settings were adjusted correctly, but recently I looked under the settings again and I think I've corrected them now.
Thanks again for all of the replies!
