First audio track sold and some questions

Ok, I have sold my first audio track, that's nice.
But I have some newbie questions.
Music on Pond5 is non-exclusive, that means you can sell it anywhere you want, right?
My music is not really let's say very commercial music, but sounds rather like film music. So, I would like to use my music also in my own personal projects. Question: Is it wise to also use your own music, you already have uploaded on Pond5, in your own projects, and are there contributors here who have also uploaded their music (already uploaded on Pond5) on personal Youtube channels? Should you then write a link on your Youtube channel which tells that your music can be licensed on Pond5?
And when you have old tracks already published on a own independent CD, is it worth to upload them on Pond5?
I hope to get some ideas or advice. Thanks.

Hi congrats on your first sale. I'm also fairly new to Stock music but yes I would upload to as many non exclusive libraries as you can and if you think there's a market for your old tracks upload them as well.
The issue I've found is getting enough traffic to Pond 5 and therefore set up a Youtube account to try and promote it more.

I started out making 60 second watermarked files with links back here and have recently tried a few full length films but with lower quality mp3 files. My sites not perfect but it might give you a few ideas.
Cheers

Thanks for your reply and sharing some ideas.
I took a look at your YT account and I think it is a good idea to promote your music from there. I prefer the tracks without watermarks, but it is understandable to add watermarks.
By the way, I had to wait 7 months for my first sale here, and the track had only 2 views, so sometimes you don't need a lot of traffic to sell a track.
