What are you trying to light? Studio use or field?
Studio I wouldn't go less than a 500 watt. Even the cheaper China imports are over $250

Just a good sturdy on camera LED light to carry on my bag.

Oh, then that $50 one should do nicely.
I have one like it that I keep in my bag.

Im using three of the smaller ones YN-1410 and they're really well built for the price. I've measured them myself and they are really 5500 K after warming up a couple of minutes. On full power they're 5350 K.
