I'm new here (just uploaded my second clip) and either I don't understand something .. or I must be doing something wrong.
All my clips are SD and, as I understand it, I should be rendering to an uncompressed Quicktime format.
When I do that I can only get about 15 seconds of video before I reach the 500 meg limit.
Is that right?

what settings are you using?
You should compress it a little but 500 meg for a SD 15 second video seems a bit high.
My HD 15 second videos are about 250-400 meg.
Personally I never make any video more then 15 seconds or I try not more then 350 meg anyway.

Brighterside,
A clip of 29.12 seconds long should be no more than 106.2Mb if you're using the correct compression settings, which should be DV/DVCPRO -NTSC .Your frame rate 29.97, compression (best), interlaced and 4:3 in QT.
