Seems to have lost many pages of gibberish in this thread and other thread. So to summarize the missing data:
1. Work on quality
2. Use a stable tripod (avoid handheld, the buyer can always had shake or movement)
3. Don't over process to video
4. Price to a point to pay for time, equipment, computer, software, camera, travel, internet etc if you only sell it once or twice (plus profit). Most guys making money here start at $50 on the low end.
5. Contribute but don't be over-bearing in the forum.
6. Listen to the great P5 artists that have been selling and making a good living here for the last several years.
7. Have fun and don't get too serious in the forum ;)
8. Make friends and don't alienate from other artists. A lot to be learned by everyone from those who do this for a living.
9. Don't Spam keywords
10. Don't worry about what others are selling, it doesn't matter. Use your own imagination both in the video capture and then do your own work describing and keywording. Don't copy what you see others doing ... it just will not help.
11. Make friends and have fun.

So there ya go, eleven easy to follow steps to be successful in video footage ;)

Any stock footage is worth the money because its high quality effects and a lot of these effects are used for movies and other projects
