Video subscription has arrived

Oh dear video subscription has arrived now a customer can get 10 video's hd or4K for $199 so what will the content producer receive ?? 10 dollars ??

Video subscription has been around for years. I have about 1000 of mine in it on this site.
Used to make a pretty decent amount of money just from the sub sales. But that has drastically dropped in recent years.
But if you read it. It's not open to the entire collection (for now) but about 4 million videos.
So my guess if you didn't know about it, chances are none of yours are affected.

just wondering how one's work gets selected for subscription plan, was it offered to you?

It was offered when they started it to a some artists. Not sure who or how many.
Then it was closed.
They picked videos out of your portfolio that hadn’t sold in two years. So basically we got money for videos that were just sitting there.
We don’t know what videos are downloaded or how many as no subscription videos show up in our sold list.
We just get a separate payment.

So if you’re trying to figure out how much you get per clip. Stop worrying about it. It’s a secret only known to pond5.

It just replaces the "Membership" program. Clips are the ones only the contributors opted in. Pond5 is doing the right way unlike Shutterstock and Adobe Stock which are throwing everything into the video subscription program and losing contributors and new uploads to Pond5 who fled Shutterstock or stopped uploading new clips to Adobe Stock and also deleting Pond5 bestselling clips from Adobe Stock and moving them to Pond5 exclusive.

I asked them by mail if exclusive content will only be included, and they said "only when i opt in"!

And now that's the kick in our a..!

"With the subscription plans, we have available, there is an option for custom-made subscription services for our buyers. If they request it as part of their custom plan, they could have access to all exclusive content, even if it has not been offered up for the subscription service. That being said, it is possible that your exclusive content can be purchased through subscriptions. "

Well that says a couple of things.
One is as I’ve always thought, exclusive isn’t important to pond5.
Second is, it seems all video on this site will be added to the subscription.

Oh well. It’s what it is.
I’m going back to YouTube and watch cat videos.

But at what prices are the subscribers able to license our exclusive videos? They might get some built-in discount but discounted from what?

Usually it takes 6 month to change all videos - or even only 1 video - from exclusive to not exclusive, but Pond5 managed it in only a few days to change to subscriptions after bought by SS. So, we should expect that NOW in this NEW situation, Pond5 SHOULD BE ABLE TO CHANGE FILES TO NOT EXCLUSIVE IN A FEW DAYS ONLY! Isn´t it?
What makes it to take that long time?
My first thought: Alamy, where it always take 6 month.
Okay, but then? Deleting videos or images on Adobe are offlilne DIRECTLY!
So, who we miss? Which "partners" need that long time?
I would love to upload all my videos now to all agencies WITHOUT WAITING 6 MONTH! After all these great news!
What can happen, if I do it - playing against the rules? Pond5 would close my account? Is that faster than 6 month? Or they keep the revenue in that 6 month time for themselves? What will happen?
I want to go not exclusive NOW.
I would never ever ask for this, if Pond5 did not send us any of these three bad news (1. SS, 2. Music subscription, 3. subscription on all).
Before I get an answer here from Pond5, they will send email number 4 already with a great news. I am really angry and frustrated! Pond5 was the last agency we could trust. Now there is not any agency left. All big bullshit.
