Canon T4i price

Why has the T4i drop in price so radically to $648?
Is there something wrong with the camera or is a T5i soon to be announced?

Cheapest price I see 693.50 for the camera with 18-55mm lens and basic accessories. That's a instant savings of 154.97 off 848.47 which ends Jan 9th, They also have have a sale on the body only for 679.95 with basic accessories. Don't know where you found that price as it sure wasn't listed that way in the link you posted.

When I press add to cart. That is a 200+ dollar price drop from the original price of this camera. The camera most not be selling very well when they have to give such a big discount.

wow, that is nuts! $648 for body only. That kit lens is crap anyway, don't waste your $.

They are probably planning on releasing something better here soon. No real upgrade from the t2i to the t4i... maybe the movable lcd display, other than that no real benefit. I had the t2i , sold for the t3i (because the lcd screen). Not going to upgrade it til there is something worth selling off the t3i for.

@cinecameratv I see where you the price of 648.00 In "See cart for product details" but that still isn't a 200+ price drop as the body only is 799.99 so you're looking at 151.99 which isn't bad.
