Is vertical video selling well in Pond5?

I made a search using "vertical footage" to look at sale prices - Results:
<$29 = 35,816 files
$29-$49 = 7,042 files
$49-$79 = 18,430 files
$79-$99 = 9,648 files
$99+ = 2,219 files

The default of Pond5 is about $15 for vertical FHD. About 70% are FHD.

I uploaded a bunch of vertical background animations to P5 and AS at the same time. Zero have sold on P5 and roughly a dozen have sold on AS. And my cut was a few dollars, so I believe the statement previously about primarily selling as "subscription" is accurate. SS does not allow vertical clips to be uploaded in 1080x1920 format, so you have to upload them in horizontal 1920x1080. I have not shot/submitted any camera footage in vertical format yet, but I'm gonna do it over the next few months just to "test the waters". I certainly don't think it's worth shooting any subjects exclusively as vertical, I'd shoot it "in addition" to the traditional horizontal format...

Personally, I've seen very little vertical social media video posts with "footage". Most of them use background animations. And those I've seen with footage, the footage was also "background" (citscapes, sunrise/sunset, landscapes) and not as the primary subject.

Thank you MidWestStockFootage, I am starting to upload HD verticals versions from 4K previous footage that may be of interest to those comercial entities that are producing shorts for Youtube. There has being a boom of shorts in Youtube since it stated generating revenues in february. New footage will be shot in 5.7 or 5.8k to allow me to have more flexibility to select what part of a clip is better for a vertical version. Maybe if we upload plenty of verticals, Pond5 will respond promoting them and making a section for them on the home page. I am pricing the HD verticals at $49 ..... lower than 4k versions but as somebody said here years ago ... a sale is a sale. "those I've seen with footage, the footage was also "background" (citscapes, sunrise/sunset, landscapes)" .... thank you for the tip.
