My oh my. Back into the cheap helps sales dead horse. Even those who used to stay out are now helping new artists to understand low prices hurts sales. Not true prices are going down, prices at all the successful agencies are going up. Sell cheap and make a few hundred as our friend here has done or sell at a fair and valued price and make a few thousand. It amazes me on how the low volume, low income sellers come here and push low prices as the way to make money. Those who do well do not sell for less than $50 and that is the low end. It's easy, listen to those who are making a living at stock footage; go look at best sales for the last week and month. $200 is a low selling price for hundreds of footage every week or month. Nope, not my thugs ... just good honest and successful stock footage business people making a good living here.

Hopefully an administrator from P5 will chime in on this. It really should be addressed right away before it gets worse. Best to nip it in the butt right away. We all love P5 and we want to keep it that way. This one individual in particular still has full length tracks over 4 minutes in length selling for $2 showing up on the just sold page, this really must stop or P5 is in danger of getting flooded with $5 and $3 producers ..... nobody including P5 will make any profit. No profit means only bankrupt for a business and contributors going elsewhere, none of us want to see this. And no, I'm not exaggerating or in a panic , i seen this happen before, when it's too late it's too late, no matter what you try to do then.

+1 for 're-pricing' 2-5usd stuff.
By the way, last year I noticed many producers with relatively high prices (40-50usd).
I also rised prices for my tracks to 49usd (from 20-30usd) few months ago and must say - it sells.
Customers, who are looking for quality has more trust to high prices than to "free" or "cheap" proclamations.
I think there are two ways to influence this situation:
1) P5's actions as for pricing regulations (quite hard to initiate for regular users/contributors).
2) Our own actions like changing prices, going away from "wrong" libraries (with low sell prices, low splits (<50%), PRO-membership restrictions).
Just look - Revostock has changed its pricing after numerous composer's requests about cheappy situation (all for 5usd bargain price, yeah!!!).
So, It MAY be changed and MUST be changed.
