another "approval times?" thread

I've 75 photos pending review, going back over a month now.

What gives? Any changes I missed somewhere?

Yeah I have some stock footage waiting for approval. Very poor service indeed! Might consider going elsewhere and drop my account here.

Review times may be slow here but sales and prices are better here. I had 54 photos reviewed today some had been up for over a month, others a few days. Hang in there, hellofilms.

Yes, photos are usually very fast getting reviewed, but for some reason they are slow this past month. I only have a few so its no big deal here. Kalani is right, Pond 5 is by far the best stock site..at least from my experience. Hellofilms, I can't tell you what to do, but in the long run I think you'll be very happy that you waited it out with Pond 5.

OK, I will hang in there, yes the rates are much more competitive than other stock houses, lets hope this isn't an long term occurrence.

Also how come my BIO isn't showing? I completed this in my profile section etc? I assume this will show once my first ever footage is approved!?

Once your photos are approved and online you should also see your bio.

Currently our queue is huge. We have been getting more and more submissions every day, and our staff are working as hard as they can to get the queue down from a month or more to around a week or two. We appreciate your patience while we work our butts off to approve your clips!

As far as your bio page, it is a site indexing issue. We index the site as often as we can, so your files and bios and everything will be updated soon. We are working on a button that will allow you to update your own information as we speak, so stick around for that to be rolled out soon!

ALL of my images were approved literally the day after I posted this.

What's interesting to me is that my 75 files were uploaded over a period of 4-6 weeks, yet they were all approved in one giant batch. I'm happy they're all finally reviewed, but I'm not sure I like how they all go at once.

Ryan, do you have an explanation for how that process works?
