EDIT while PENDING

Please give the ability to edit while Pending back. Stop fixing things that are nt broke making it more difficult for contributors. It really was easier to submit ten - fifteen years ago.

So now when a contributor realizes that while using a template the camera type is wrong. Can't fix now. Try running changes through long term contributors before going live and save a lot of frustration as well as money making unneeded changes.

Agreed! I just deleted and re-uploaded some clips because I wanted to add a special Pond5 shoot brief keyword and I couldn't edit them while pending.

you can still edit keywords from uploads page but yes its frustrating

Can't corect spelling errors in description or keywords while pending. Please stop helping us by changing contributor pages.

Don, I believe it still works fine. I just don't go into the edit clip, I do it all on the upload page.

Hey Scott, just like in order to attach a release have to go to upload page instead of doing it all on one page where data is entered during editing. As one of the first Artists here, when P5 only had a few hundred clips, it frustrating when programmers fix things that are not broken and make it broken.

As contributors have mentioned on the forum, before Pond5 changed things, if you had made a mistake with some info, you could easily go back to the clip you had submitted, and change it in edit. I used a template, and realised the year it was filmed was wrong. Why would pond5 change something that worked perfectly? Why don't you instead fix things that are broken? Do you have a tech guy who is not sure what to do with his time? How about you put the feature back, and fix the search engine. Which is a total mess. Thanks.

Thanks You MWHUNT. Exactly. Leave the contributor side of the web pages alone. Can't think of any changes in the last ten years that helped and most made it more difficult and time consuming. Fifteen years ago they made changes almost immediately based on Artists comments. It was stable for last few years but now ....

I've realised that on the pending page, you can click on the title or description and edit those that way. No way to edit keywords though. I don't know of the changes will take but it's a possible workaround.

I wish admin would comment on this and other matters. Despite an excellent response recently from support on something else many of us often discuss, and reassurances of improvements for contributors and a post being made to reassure us, no post has appeared and forum admin remain silent.
