I took pictures of my daughter wearing her prom dress. I retouched them and uploaded them to SmugMug. I made sure the "share button" was disabled and the right-click protection was enabled. I then posted the link on Facebook so Family an friends could see. A relative displayed a full size picture on her computer screen and snapped a photo of it with her phone and posted it on Facebook.
I spoke with the relative, slept on it, and I'm still upset. It's like, "I'll do whatever I darned well please and you can't stop me." It would have been much easier just to share the link if she just wanted more people to see the picture. At least she only did this to one.
How do we make people understand this kind of behavior is unacceptable? If I'd wanted copyable pictures on Facebook I would have put them there. I have enough trouble being taken seriously as a photographer without people thinking an image like that is mine.

I would invite the relative to a cookout and catch her drunk, with her butt crack hanging out, or shoveling food in her mouth, or some other unflattering pose and then post it on FB, tag it, share it and then sit back and wait...

She took it down so that's a good thing.
