Why aren't we able to upload raw files? Most people want the file in raw for grading purposes and whatnot.

No MOST do not want or need RAW. Few if any of the big agencies offer Raw files. If they do they or the agency will ask you if Raw is available. Don't worry be happy.

I’ve never heard of anyone wanting raw files. Have you actually had a request?

I’ve uploaded some raw ungraded files years ago as a test, one sold and I actually saw it on a commercial. It was still in the ungraded look.

Most buyers either don’t want flat videos or don’t know how to correctly color grade raw footage.
I think if a buyer is deciding from a few clips to buy and one is graded and colorful and yours is flat and raw, he will go with the colorful one.

Because it`s like a negative. You give People your negatives you don`t own it anymore. The only time i`d do that is with a buy out with a factor of 5x dayrate.
