About tagging other artists in your description

Is it okay to tag other artists in your work? Secondly, is it okay to tag artists from Pond5 and other royalty free sites in your work? I

If you are asking if it is ok to use other artists name, business name or company in your work description or keywords ... absolutely not without direct permission.

What would be the purpose of tagging them?

I was recommended to me to write 'sound-alike' music. So it's just related to the way the music sounds. If I write a track that sounds similar to Danny Elfman's work, for instance.

I wouldn't, doesn't seem like it would be fair to try to fish customers away from them.

Personally I'd be very angry if someone was doing that with my business name so I don't think it's a good idea.

I agree. Thanks for the advice guys. There are a lot of people doing this I see. I think I've decided I will not follow suit.
