More than 100 tracks approved, almost no sales

Hi everyone, I have been with Pond 5 for a few years now and have over 100 quality production music tracks approved but have had hardly any sales at all. No idea what I might be doing wrong. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Here are a couple of examples of my work.

Hi, I have been on here for a similar length of time. At the moment I only have 15 tracks on here most of which are edits of two full tracks. In my time here I have only sold one 30s edit. I have had a listen to a few of your tracks and I can't really fault what you are doing, it seems like you have uploaded a good range of quality music.
I think there is such a vast number of tracks for people to choose from, it's just lucky if someone finds your tracks. The only difference between my uploads and yours is that I upload tracks with a sample rate of 48Khz with 24 bits per sample. I'm not sure how many tracks you have sold out of your 140 tracks, so I'm not sure if your percentage of sales is similar to mine, I would be interested to know.
An idea may be to try and create multiple edits from your existing tracks and upload them. If your not already doing that it may be worth a try.

You have about 150 products out of millions. In reality that is why you have not had sales. Indeed thousands or even millions of the other music files are not as good as yours but it is a numbers game to be found. Good luck.

Expect it to get worse. Pond5 sold you out when they allowed all of this music to be used for training data. people are now generating the music they want and they don't royalty free music any more.

If you want to make a living from it, you have to choose a holistic strategy. I don't know what keywords you chose, but I could certainly give you a hint. My second tip is to create a YouTube channel with your artist name and produce videos with your music. Thirdly, I would also look for a distributor where you pay between 22 and 65 dollars a year, then I would create your artist channel on Spotify and take 80 to 100 dollars in your hand and write to curators of larger playlists so that they include you in the playlists. The curators will take between 1 and 3 dollars to add you to their playlists. It works very well, your followers are guaranteed to increase. Another great tip is to record longer pieces of music. Songs up to 4 minutes or longer. I can tell you how to write longer songs with a trick. Another super tip: record up to three songs every 4 weeks. And I have even more tricks in my bag of tricks like you have your songs and they cost nothing but your time, which leads to a considerable number of listeners and fans. Yes, it's a lot of work, but I've got legit ways you can shorten your work time and earn a lot more than you do now. I'll tell you everything you need to know to make a living from your music. Since I take my time for you, I don't do it for free, but it will be worth it for you because I'll unpack things you never thought existed. It's a lot of work, but in the end it will be worth it for you and you'll make a lot more money than you do now. If you want to benefit from my complete strategy. Then let me know, but please don't forget that it's a bit of work, but you do all the work on the computer. If you are interested in my strategy, we can get to know each other over the internet.

Clip melodies, you have 20 tracks uploaded so I would take your offer above with a pinch of salt.

Yes, you may be right, but I don't just produce music, I also do other things and create graphics and so on. I want to upload more soon, but you know there are only 24 hours in a day, but look even Pond5 recommends opening a YouTube channel. Somewhere on the Pond 5 site it says that and I would also open a channel on TikTok. I would have uploaded more songs if I had to do that, but I also manage a TikTok channel and so on. It's really the case that you have to do a lot of things. That's what a German artist who now makes a very good living from music and also has a YouTube channel told me, you have a lot of work ahead of you, but it's possible to earn good money. He says that he also makes a living from it. He also has a YouTube channel. I'm not sure, but most of them have subtitles. If you want, please write me here that I should post the URL of his channel here so that you can see it. And then listen to what he says or read the subtitles, because he speaks in German, but subtitles are English. He had to do all the work, but it was worth it for him. Let me know that you want to see his YouTube channel, then I'll copy the URL and you can watch his videos and listen to what he says. That's all there is to it.

I have listened to your music and it is very good. It's even better than mine. Congratulations. But do you know how many songs, Pond5 offers for sale in the store? If you can, produce additional music from the 5 most popular music genres here at Pond5 but don't stop producing your music. Only if you can. And then take advantage of all the opportunities to promote your music on Pond5. Yes, I know it's a lot of work, and I'll be doing it soon, but there's no other way to make money with the music you make. I could have produced another 1000 songs and put them on Pond5, I wouldn't have earned a cent with the 1000 songs, so I have to go another way. I wish you all the best.

Hi Ian,
I concur what others have said...'it's a numbers game'. Personally, I mainly sell SFX clips, and have a couple music clips as well. I think I have like 15 music, and about 500+ sfx files. The more you upload, the better your chances. Also, it's ALL about how you tag things. I was going through a rut a while ago, when I decided to get 'real' about selling on here. So, instead of lowering my prices to be 'more competitive', I raised them...all. I also decided to go through all my tracks and rename them to something more specific with better wording. Then you're "Tags" are another story. Tagging is the only way your name will pop up when someone does a random search for, say, "cinematic pop songs". You will be among the 1000s, but you will be there.
Just be more specific in your titling and tagging...and upload more more more. I could be wrong of course, but I don't think I am. You could also do a google search (or whatever) on the subject. I've done that plenty, and learned alot about posting stuff. There are algorithms to follow, guidelines to follow, for better results.
Don't expect to get rich with anything on here, unless you have at least 500 tracks of whatever you're selling. (in this case, music tracks)
Good luck

Hi, TsunamiSoundscape. What kind of success have you had with 500 SFX clips? I have uploaded 73 music tracks and 62 sound effects so far, but I've only made a handful of sales. I think I can reach 500 uploads eventually, but I'd like to know if the effort would be worth it.
