With the popularity of cheap but quality dslr many new people have entered the market without a knowledge of the value of footage. They have come from the penny photo stock agencies or are looking for bragging rights with no business sense or drive to make a profit. Footage is still and in the foreseeable future a good avenue to sell QUALITY footage at much higher pricing. A very large number of footage are sold here for several hundred dollars each every week.

I believe you will get better responses if you ask in the artist section and not open forum.
