processing failed after a long upload.. Saying 34863048: 3D Db; found no 3d model..
but i'm not uploading the 3d model, i just want to sell stock fx footage..

The only way that you can upload a clip with alpha is with a Quicktime file with the 'animation' codec. You can do millions of colors + and the alpha will be included. Another alternate is to include an alpha pass. Check out the FAQ for sellers:

You cannot upload image sequences but assembled into a clip.

thanks.. I am getting closer.. It's now a Quicktime @ million + with alpha.. file size 1.3gigs.. (90% compression)..
When making my Alpha, What do buyers like in terms of how much you can see through it? Example: If i make a banner, would they want the alpha pure black, pure white? -Or- Could i add grays to the alpha, making it semi transparent?
Thanks again for your help

Your alpha should be white where there is content. 100% value (white) = opaque and 0% = transparent. The level of transparency depends on the content. For example if your logo is glass it would have some transparency. I would definitely test compositing it over some footage before you upload to ensure it looks the way you want it to.
The animation codec is lossless and uses what is called run-length encoding. Whereas a truly uncompressed Quicktime stores a value for each pixel, run-length essentially only stores values where there is content (it's a little more complex than that). So if you have a graphic that has lots of black around it the file will be smaller. If the image is full screen it will be larger.
Hope this helps.

Edit: I was mistaken and apparently you can have compressions with the animation codec. But it defeats the purpose so keep the quality at 100%.
