2000 footage - what to expect

Its a really hard thing to judge because it not only matters how many clips you have up but also the time they have been up. If you continue to do what you did last year I think you will find that your sales will exponentially increase the second year. That was my experience anyway. Not to stir up controversy here on this thread but my personal advice to you is to set your price for HD footage at a bare minimum of $50 dollars. I was originally like you and finally realized it was worth more and set it to $50. Now my bare minimum is $60. At first I thought that by having lower prices more people would buy and I would make more but both times I changed the prices it increased my total income. Like I said, this is a controversial topic here on Pond5 so do whatever you want but that is what I found worked for me. Not to mention the fact that we don't want the same thing to happen to video that happened to photos where we end up selling them for pennies on the dollar.
Like I said, keep up what you have been doing and I think you will see a big increase in revenue this year. Make sure you are also submitting to SS as well because that will make up around 50% of your income

I didn't make any money on my first year. On the 2nd year sales got much better. I stuck to a minimum price of $50 for HD.
