I have a Sony 3/4" VO-7600 Pro recorder.
All the lights light up and meters seem to work. I dont have a 3/4" tape so I dont know if it works. Is something like this worth anything or should I just take it to the dump?

Anything is worth putting on Ebay
I'm guessing Francois would be the best one to say if it's worth something.
I did a google search and I found them for over $4000 so I would think its got to be worth something to someone.

You might want to use it for trade in with some of the vendors such as B&H or Video Guys and so on.. they sometimes buy used and older equipment and offer an amount towards the purchase of new stuff. Just an idea - but what Jake says is really good too.

It weighs a ton so it would probably cost over $200 to ship anywhere.

Wow... a 3/4" umatic recorder, don't see them too often anymore. What ever you can get for it, do. You might get $500 on a really good day. U-Matic has been obsolete for more than a decade now.
good luck,
Francois

Considering it was found in my house when I moved in I think I would probaably give it away as long as I dont have to pay any thing to take it to the Dump.
I had a set of old Wrangler tires in my barn. I put them up on craigs list for $10 and sold them in one day. It would have cost me $15 to dispose of them.
