it would be nice if we could get a letter of referral or something like that.
maybe a PDF that says we are photographers and videographers and that we shoot editorial and non-editorial footage that is made available to the general public at pond5.com
where we could just print it out and send it to whomever requests it.
it would make it easier to apply for media and press passes.
also, an id card would be nice too. I am sure there is a company out there that makes id cards that could do one for each seller, upon request. I wouldn't mind paying a small fee like $10 to get an ID card. it could say we are freelance photographers for pond5.

Get your printer out and make one. Put your picture in the corner, serial number, expiration date, official title and mothers maiden name. Send me $10 or the equivalent of two sales.

One of the larger agencies has this... SS...
Click on your user name and then on "On the red carpet"... There is a 2 year exclusivity stipulation though.

Real tough to go exclusive. I think if I owned a multi-million dollar book business it would not be difficult to have my own publisher media pass printed from my business.
