Video template nonsense.

Every time I edit a video template the keywords field is automatically populated with a stack of nonsense keywords.

Auto Keywords need to be turned off on the template entry screens. This is just so obvious it should never have cropped up.

It has, Most people have already turned it off.
Go to Preferences, scroll down and turn off "automatically suggest keywords".

For me it seems that especially since Auto Keywords are active (although i don't use it) sales are totally down. Looks as if it damages the whole sales situation in any way.

yup, everyone now use the same basic keywords so it's like a Robin Hood thing. Take from those who spend time studying, digging for keywords and trying to include data that helps their work to standout from those that are too lazy to do their own work. Yup, like Government, trying to make everyone equal, those that work hard and those who just copy others need to have same chance. What happened to working hard to succeed to be better than the rest??

Wish we could also turn off the ability for the "artificial intelligence" evaluating our keywords to improve the data for lazy artists. Everytime we spend time and energy and dedication with hours of study all our effort is then shared with everyone else who don't have that motivation.

Yes, that's actually a very refreshing way to look at the issue Don. Glad to read that I wasn't the only one with the same thoughts. Others who may or may not be 'competing' with our clips are essentially given a copy of our keywords (once the keyword tool starts working better).
