Why can a bin have not more than 1000 clips?
This restriction makes no sense.

Yes it really makes no sense. It's been like that for years.

Another one never answered.

There's no way around the 1000 item limit, this is intentional. I'm not a coder, so I'm afraid I can't explain the nitty gritty details, but we aren't going to be increasing that limit anytime soon because there's no reasonable or easy way to accomplish that. Instead, we recommend making additional collections if you have more items you want to place in a collection.

That's the reason why i don't use the chat support for this, with other words, ... i expected that nobody of the team sees a reason to change it. I'm also no programmer, but so or so the "1000" is only a number in the code and it cannot be difficult for a programmer to change this number!
So for your information:
The 1000 collection is filled with clips from a special tourism island and every clip in this one links to the collection on the item page. When i open an additional collection ........... aaaahhh, tired to explain more about this!
The reasonable for larger collections belongs to the artist and shouldn't be a question if a programmer or coder see the value to become active and change only a number!

It's not a matter of seeing a reason to change it, it really is a matter of resources. Unfortunately, it's far more complicated than just changing a number in the code from 1000 to say 10000. The code that creates Pond5 has to obey particular rules with regard to things like available memory and bandwidth. Obviously, if it were that simple, we'd have done it by now, but I'm told that that is just not the case.
