I bought AE template 1760592 Smooth Transition . It worked with CC 2014, but after upgrading to AE CC 2015.1, It crashes with error, "Corner Pin cannot allocate buffer of more than 3000 pixels...." I had tried lowering resolution, lowering images resolution but nothing help so far.
Any suggestions on fix?

Try to reinstall CC 2014. Whenever a new version of the Adobe Software is offered for update, keep your older versions alive.

CC 2014 is no more available on Adobe CC installer. So reinstalling CC 2014 is not an option for me. I do still have CS6 installed on my laptop. The template render OK in AE CS6. Author said that he would update his template.

CC 2014 is definitely still available for anyone who has a Creative Cloud subscription, as is CS6. From Adobe's website:

1. Click the Creative Cloud icon, located in the taskbar (Windows) or Apple menu bar (Mac OS), to open the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app. If it’s not already selected, click the Apps tab at the top of the window.
2. In the Find Additional Apps section, click Filters & Versions and choose View Previous Versions.
3. Scroll to the app you want to download and click the Install menu. Choose an available version to install.
4. Find the application you wish to revert to in the list, click on the Install menu button, and choose the application you wish to revert to.
The former version of the application is now installed.
