5D MKII 30 fps or 29.97 fps?

Since the 5D MKII captures in 30 fps should final processed footage be the same. Many of us use Neo Scene to help convert the files to .AVI before processing to Photo JPEG. Neo Scene converts to 29.97 fps and no options to change it. So the question for P5, buyers and other artists; convert back to 30 fps or leave at 29.97 fps?

For some reason, After Effects and Premiere interpret my AVCHD files recorded at 30p as 29.97, so I just leave it alone.

The real frame rate of 5DMKII is 29.97. The camera's software is wrong writing the files header with 30 fps instead of 29.97. This could be fixed either while converting the file with MPEGStreamclip or other software or in any NLE using the interpret command and specifying 29.97fps. The last way does not require rendering.

@dnavarrojr: as I previously said the real frame rate of 5DMKII footage is 29.97. So, it is good AE and P see the footage as being 29.97.
