I have noticed that for any given keyword used to search in the music category, that the top selling tracks are the ones that come up on the top of the search results... even in some cases when the keyword does not accurately describe the song. I understand that may not have anything to do with it, as if a seller adds that keyword to their description, that track will come up in a search, and it is most beneficial to be at 50 keywords for each track.
I also understand the concept of adding more tracks to increase your exposure (I currently have only 9 tracks uploaded), but really what good will that do if they come up 8 or more pages down in a search, underneath the tracks that are selling all the time, and underneath the tracks that may not be anything close to the keyword used in the search? I'm a newcomer to this, and I'm not very concerned at the moment with not having any sales yet, as I will improve my writing as I go on, but does anyone have advice on how to get the tracks viewed? This website seems like it is flooded with material, and will not be very productive at all to newcomers like me.

I think that depends on the filter settings of the search; afaik the default is set to "best-selling".
