Did you ask the curator?
Only that person can answer why.

I am new to this website, so I had no idea I could ask, and so I deleted the rejected track. I was just wondering if its bad for this kind of market or where is the catch?

Well, if you look around the forums you'll see that most of us oldies here were quite surprised when we started getting rejections. To keep a long story short, they have upped their quality control, so mixing and mastering have to be top notch, and there's way too much of Epic, Trailer, and Corporate Uplifting tracks. Now that's not to say that those won't be accepted if you create a really exceptional track, but basically, if you write those genres, you shouldn't be surprised with rejections.

How many different threads do you have to ask this question in? I tried to help in the other thread. Get ready for a lot more. Like Jake said above, contact P5 directly. P5 has answered many threads with similar questions on music rejections. Read them. You need to produce music that stands out from the rest. Good luck, remember one thread is enough.

@Talekeeper, well this track is probably not mixed or mastered badly, it's not my first nor the last one, but I guess this market has just too many of these kinds of generic crappy tracks. @RekindlePhoto, I wasn't sure which place was the right to post this kind of thread at, so i posted it in both, since the forums look a little bit dead. And as well, how do I contact curator directly? Do they even answer those kind of questions?

in your inbox (on this site) there's the message from the curator that rejected you.
you just hit reply to that message and he'll receive your message.
but you will probably receive a pretty much generic answer, so don't get discouraged, upload more material.
currently, you have no files in your portfolio, although you've been a member for at least a year.

Thanks LivingroomClassics, I was a member for at least a year because I registered here and on Audiojungle.net, but ended up being an exclusive author over there for 3 years. And a few of my friends are selling their music here, so I was going to try this platform as well, but it started with a rejection, bad luck I guess :)
